
Due to the fact that the article had to be 600 words, this hilarious bit was left off the final copy:
Me: A lot of your material deals with your youth. Did you always want to be a comedian, even at a young age?
Brian Regan: “One of the first times I remember getting a big laugh as a kid was not planned. My family was driving past a funeral procession. I asked my Dad if he ever saw a "real live dead man." He just kept laughing and repeating that. "A real live dead man? No, I can honestly say I never saw a 'real live dead man.'" I had to figure out why that was funny.”
